What customers say?

“ The service was outstanding; they explained the menu to us and were attentive throughout the meal. Everything was delicious, and the price was comparable to other restaurants. It's not cheap, but it's not the most expensive either. Bread and anything else they offer before the meal that's not on the menu will cost extra. ”

“ Such nice people. Even though we didnt speak any Portuguese and they didn’t speak any English, Spanish, Italian or German, we somehow still understood each other. The woman was in the kitchen and was so happy to cook for us, always smiling and asking how things were. Insisted on us trying a dessert she had made herself cause it was her own personal recipe. A very simple but heartwarming place, with easy home made food that just hit the spot. Incredible prices too. Obrigada! ”

“ Visited on December 26, 2024. The old man who owned the place quickly brought over the menu outside and showed it to me. The Francesina was a bit salty, but it paired well with beer. The sauce was unique. I saw them clean the potatoes right after I ordered them, slice them, and fry them themselves. They were truly delicious. Overall, the flavor was salty and refreshing, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. The only disappointment was that the beer glass had a slightly sour taste. But it was so delicious, I drank it all. (It was €2.50.) I don't know about Portuguese home cooking, but it must be similar. Bring cash when you visit. ”

“ The café is run by the owners, Natalia and Joaquín, and the food is wonderful. We went there for breakfast; my husband ordered a ham and cheese omelet, and I had an Alheira de Mirandela—delicious! The second day, my husband put together his own breakfast, and Natalia prepared it perfectly. I ordered a Francesinha, which was excellent. Highly recommended: good prices, good food, and excellent service. ”
